Modem/router with VPN Client/server capabilities - Netflix Question

Hi all, absolute amateur here with this stuff ... I have an Asus DSL-AC68U Modem/router. Part of its feature set is that it has VPN server and VPN client capabilities.

Can i setup my modem/router to access Netflix (US) without the need of buying a VPN service like unotelly?

How do i do this?

You'll still need a VPN provider for the servers you'll be connecting to. When it comes to unblocking services like Netflix you have 2 options 1. Using a VPN service 2: using a DNS proxy service. The latter is the preferred option.

Bottom line you do need to pay someone to access their VPN/DNS server to unlock content
