Modifying services on vodacom4me

I'm trying to add a once-off data bundle on my talk 130 through vodacom4me but when I click on modify services I get this message "Your account is restricted from modifying the rest of the services"

I am able to activate services on my vodacom 3g data contract so why not on my cellphone contract that also uses data services.

Why should I have to call cutomer care and waste my time when this can easily be done through vodacom4me?

Can anyone else add services on contracts other than 3g data?
 
Never mind...got it myself

I emailed customer care about this and this was the response: "Kindly be advised that the option to activate bundles on Vodacom4me has been removed from contract holders."
They are obviously misinformed...

It seems that when you have 2 contracts with vodacom one of them is the master account. You can grant your other account access rights by logging into your master account and clicking on 'manage users'. You can also add services to your other account via the master account, so you don't really need to log in to separate accounts.

Hope customer care guys read this forum because all is answered in here...you just have to find it

It seems that the number you are currently trying to add the bundle to is not the master number. Log in with the master number (the one you can actually modify services on. Then you go - "My Acount" - "Manage Users". Then click on the "Maintain Users" tab. Then click on "Modify Services" link a bit down on that tab. Then, select the number you want to add a service to in the drop down box at the top. Tick the service you want and press update button @ the bottom of the services page.
 
Ag NO KATVIS!!!!!! Now I just wasted 5 minutes typing out that helse lange response and you bloody go and figure it out yourself. tsk!!!! :-)

In consolation, it was a very informative and well written response... not at all like the response from vodacom customer care "Kindly note that I have confirmed with our CIC(customer information centre) Vas Division that the activation service has been removed from all contract holders."

I have to say, I am not very impressed with that answer supplied by customer care, as the "master number" security feature has been going for a while now. tsk tsk.
 
I hope VD finds out who handled that query and gives them an extra touch of personal attention.
