What would be the cheapest way for me to purchase Monero with Eth that is in my luno wallet? and which are the best wallets to use for monero and eth? sorry if this is noob, i am VERY noob to crypto.

Cheapest is probably bittrex. but because of luno's retarded decisions regarding eth address checksums, you will have to first send ether to software wallet, then from wallet to bittrex. Are you planning to transact or hodl or what? Why do you want xmr in a wallet? There is no light wallet at this time. for eth use imToken or Coinomi.

An easy mobile wallet to use for eth is Jaxx: https://jaxx.io/ (you could just keep it in your luno wallet if it's not a huge amount).

It's easier to use as few exchanges as possible, so if you're already using HitBTC for something, then just use them again for XMR.

Fix your wallet address by pasting it into search field here https://etherchain.org/
It will give you same address but with the checksum
