DELL S2421HN monitor has no power, it worked yesterday I use this all the time I bought it in April 2024 it's a great monitor. ​

I tried this thing

But its not working has anyone had this problem and how do I fix it?

Luckily I have a smaller monitor Samsung that I can use but would prefer it if the DELL was working.

How do you fix it..? Simple answer, YOU don't..

Unless you are trained in electrical engineering/electronics and comfortable disassembling power supplies which contains capacitors that may still be charged and can cause serious harm and or death if you don't know what you are doing..

Very likely that it's a blown fuse or capacitor, both extremely cheap components and very easy fixes if you know what you are doing..

Find a professional to help you..

Check if the power cable is properly plugged into the monitor. Plug it into another power outlet and see if it turns on, also try using another power cable. Is it possibly still under warranty?

Dell has a 3 year warranty system go to dell site register it and request repair / technician should come out and replace or repair the monitor if it's still under warranty and have proof of purchase of 2024.
