We should go boldly where man has not gone before. Fly by the comets, visit asteroids, visit the moon of Mars. There’s a monolith there. A very unusual structure on this potato shaped object that goes around Mars once in seven hours. When people find out about that they’re going to say ‘who put that there? Who put that there?’ The universe put it there. If you choose, God put it there…
This is what he says on the interview.

It is darn unlikely that THAT is a natural rock, looking at the environmental context of the monolith, it is unlikely that it formed naturally lol

So we have spies in our territory ..makes Phobos for an interesting destination, and justifies every reason why the space program is on the roll again.

Did extraterrestrial visitors put the monolith there? Aldrin’s statement reinforces comments made by other astronauts that extraterrestrial vehicles were present during at least the first moon landing. It also raises questions such as “who really put the monolith there and how does Aldrin know about it?”

Aldrin’s comment is sure to attract the attention of news media covering the European Exopolitics Summit 2009 in Barcelona, Spain, July 25 and 26. The summit is titled, “A New Paradigm for a World in Crisis”.

The Barcelona event is promoted as “an event that will mark a milestone in Spain and will set a precedent in Europe. It will be the occasion in which the leaders and proponents of disclosure of the extraterrestrial presence by all of the world's governments, European as well as the U.S., will meet in a historic summit in Barcelona.”
Interesting.

sorry mercurial, that what you quoted is it what was said in the first link?
Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin has revealed that there is a “monolith” on the moon of Mars. On July 22, during an interview on CSPAN’s Washington Journal, Aldrin mentioned the monolith when he was promoting further exploration and development of the moon as well as going to Mars.

Aldrin's surprise revelation declared:

Will NASA attempt to dismiss Aldrin's comment and lessen the credibility of one of America’s heroes? Or will it finally start to admit the truth it has been hiding about UFOs of extraterrestrial origin?

Aldrin’s revelation is likely to create an Internet ‘buzz’ for awhile. So stay alert to more news about Buzz Aldrin's groundbreaking declaration!
