So FirstBornMoose and I left the group and wandered down to the lazy river, armed with a few ice cold toots we shoved off into the middle of the river....
For those of you that do not know this part of your country, there is practically nobody out here, this river runs between the two National Parks forming a Transfrontier National Park, Ai Ais In Namibia and The Richterveldt National Park. Due to Covid, the place is even more devoid of tourist types....
It was warm and quiet save for the odd fish Eagle or duck flying past, the air hardly moving..... This was paradise in another form.....
A Man and his beer, what could he not do......?
One got a different perspective of the river and surrounding hills whilst floating in the middle of nowhere, sipping on a cold one, the Covid World a lifetime away....
As I glanced to the East up the silent river, contemplating my journey for the next day or perhaps West downstream, the world had once again become my oyster.....
A voice called out from the embankment , "Moose! We lighting the fire bra!, you coming in?"
I took another cold swig from the can and looked downstream once again, "Tonight we braai like 1987..."
