MoP?

Ok ok, thinking of starting up WoW again for MoP. Few things: Is there lots of things to do in the new Expansion to keep me busy for a few months? Don't want to start the drug again then be borred and farming gold to fuel my addiction... How is level 90? Should I level a new toon from scratch?

O and one more thing. Do I need an updated client or wil a disc install work from Vanilla to MoP?

You'll need an updated client. You can update your existing client, couple gb's 6+.

MoP is great! I find it much more enjoyable then Cata. Level your existing toon(s) to 90 then create a monk

It's a big change compared to Cata wrt talents, pet battles etc

Read up on the classes before you decide to level an existing on or reroll

Monks are the best. Level a monk. Levelling is way easier, especially with heirlooms.

I'm also struggling to get into WoW again. I received a CE as a gift but haven't opened it yet.

When you leveling make sure to visit every dungeon for your level, all the quests are at the start of the dungeon when you enter.
Makes leveling up so much faster

They have also reworked all the dungeons, so while they seem familiar they are different. If you level a panda dont forget to get your daily enlightenment buff

Yea, thinking of re-rolling a new toon. With all the new changes I will have to learn the class from scratch again. Would like to play. Tank again full on in MoP. But leveling one is a biatch I'll def re-roll just not sure which class or race. I'm actually looking forward to it again. Anyone in the PTA area with the full client please give me a PM if you're ok to have me bringing an external for a full client download.

Monks are imba. When my panda was lvl 20 I took down a 26 frost mage in front of Orgri. A healer monk and a dps monk can 2 man dg`s at the lower levels. Monk tanks are decent.

Also. monks can do Zen Pilgrimage, which take you to the sanctuary where you can do a daily that gives you a +50%xp buff for 1 hour.

One thing you will love about MOP, you have access to all your other mounts and pets that all your other toons in the same faction have on the server. Another aspect is battle pets. Your pets can fight now. Kinda like Pokemon.

Mop have a vanilla wow feel to it not that many free epics yet, Yipee!!!
Leveling a monk to level 10 without heirlooms is so much more fun than the typical fast level grind. Play the game again and enjoy it. Most areas have had their quests redone some time ago and it feels just a bit more structured to play the game.
The level 90 game seems to hold a lot of chalenges, with a few raids already released. Valor point farming is not really an option at the moment, but still possible. Reputation grind have been changed to a daily quest base, not the boring dungeon grinding of Wrath/Cata.
I have enjoyed it so far, and the progress through instances are quite nice. A whole lot of new challenges and timed events thrown in to keep it even more interesting.

And get your Scroll of resurrection! Don't miss out on the free char upgrade to 80, even if you will just be using it to craft stuff....
Plenty of people here that will send you a scroll (including myself) since the sender also have some benefits.

i like mop, better than wotlk and cata. so much to do, they really did well with this xpac.
