More Afrihost Problems

My connection has been dog slow this morning. Reset the modem/router, and no change. Local ADSL connection is fine as reported on the line speed on the modem/router, but cannot load gmail except in HTML mode.

Network status on the Afrihost website says "We are receiving reports of poor ADSL and Mobile Data performance from all regions". What other ISPs are affected?

Try to run a speedtest to www.speedtest.net just for interest.
When I have sloooooow speeds, my speedtest is always 100% ???

The twitter app on my phone keeps prompting me for a password, so I hardly use it. Thanks @dade, good to know though..

To quote Michael Jackson "you are not alone" - I literally hit reply and went to fetch coffee and came back to see this the screen still loading.

I mean - Vox and Afrihost both had issues this week, can't one of the other ISP's have a turn and go down instead of Afrihost - I mean it isn't fair Afrihost gets to go down twice and the others don't get a chance to play hehe

Axxess has also been down twice this week - you're not alone

Ever since they left I.S for MTN the trouble started. This morning gmail could not even open up.

Yep, I think they use the same upstream provider (MTN) but they are totally separate companies.
