i have not had decent internet since 10pm last night and would like to inquire from other Axxess users if they are also having problems.
Won best ISP reward few days back now they let us down.
 
Slow as a snail here in Cape Town. (Lansdowne)

Local websites are fairing slightly better, however yes I have noticed a significant slowdown, of all web traffic.
 
My connection is flaky. Fast as normal for a minute or two. Then drops to nothing and i lose connections to my remote desktops. Really annoying.

Also having issues here in PTA, there is a notice on their website :

We are receiving reports from clients experiencing reduced throughput and increased latency on their internet connections. Our upstream provider is investigating. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
 
They are failing again, "blaming" it on a move to a new network... Switched over to my VOX account this morning and much better.
 
Axxess business in office. Cannot connect to O365. Email down... Axxess please fix!
 
UPDATE: Our upstream providers' Network Engineers are still attending to the reduced throughput and increased Latency. Unfortunately we do not have an ETA yet.

Totally ISP of the year... The network is the best!
 
Here is the common denominator = MTN - for Axxess and Afrihost and Afrigreen, as they are ALL on the same backbone.

We have branches in:
Cape Town
East London
Durban
Gauteng

They are all affected. This is just crazy. second time this week... and the 3rd time in 2 months. MTN must really get them self sorted out.
 
Completely down here,switched to my vox home account and full speeds now.

Axxess won best ISP lol what a joke on my home 20mb adsl line I get 16-17mbps from Vox and web africa anytime of the day or night with axxess its always around 8mbps so how is it possible that they are rated best ISP?

Something fishy.

We have confirmed that the current degradation in service we are experiencing is due to a denial of service attack. The DDOS attack on our carrier provider is occurring between their UK and AMS peers which is causing congestion on
the upstream. We can assure you that all available resources are working tirelessly to investigate this attack. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
