I haven't experienced any of this super fast new Axxess network yet, my line has been slower then before the new network. I'm putting it down to the switch over and hoping its just growing pains.

Same on my side. Started off fine this morning, but has deteriorated in the last 2 hours to a point which reminds me of Openweb.

Edit: Apologies Axxess. Everything is back to normal.

Well my camera is certainly streaming much quicker today, so the upload on the 2mb line is good :P

Things are ropey, to say the least. Speeds are slow and ping is very high.

Nearly 500ms to Facebook here in Cape Town.

Network status light is red again, where it should be.

Their call centre is chokka so don't bother calling. Their operators are also denying any problems.

Ditto here in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape. Internet connection down since this morning some time. Switched over to my HDSPA backup.
Not happy about this. 3rd time in 2 weeks that I had to switch to expensive 3g due to AXXESS issues. Understand the issues being in IT as well but still, 8 hours downtime for a paid for service??
Interesting though. Modem synched and actually have ISP IP (165.225.145.X) but no DNS's.
Can also ping 8.8.8.8 from router (Zyxel):
PING 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=0 ttl=54 time=59.492 ms
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=1 ttl=54 time=59.292 ms
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=2 ttl=54 time=59.157 ms
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=3 ttl=54 time=58.718 ms

--- 8.8.8.8 ping statistics ---
4 packets transmitted, 4 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 58.718/59.164/59.492 ms

Have restarted router multiple times.
Weird.

Connects for me now, speed seems fine on torrents. Using auto DNS assigned as follows:

primary DNS address 169.1.2.1
secondary DNS address 169.1.2.3

No change from this afternoon's test. Very high ping and lowered speed (up and down).

Also been battling since this morning, high latency locally etc. they have this up on their website :

ADSL Connectivity2015-10-28 09:20:58
We are currently experiencing an ADSL routing problem affecting traffic between our Northern, Southern and Eastern regions. Our Engineers are currently working on resolving the issue. Users in the Southern and Eastern regions may experience increased local latency.
Users who are currently experiencing a problem connecting to the internet with their adsl service. Please reboot your adsl router/modem for the connection to restart. We apologise for the inconvenience

Not impressed that its taken almost 12 hours to resolve...get the feeling that 80% of the people that know what they are doing have emigrated:(

Axxess 10mbit capped basically unusable right now. Line looks fine and I'm getting almost zero throughput and +2000 ping from JHB-Bloem.

Have you phoned Axxess support on 0861 300 900 and asked them for help? That's the number I phoned last night for assistance with my static IP. They helped me out within no time :)

I gave up last night but it seems okay again today.

Hi there

Just wish to say thanx to Axxess today. I have Mobile data with them, and today I joined for ADSL data, after about 7 minutes I was up, running on 10meg Capped 200 gig pm.
Thanx guys

Chris
PS:Speed seems nice!!

Ok, this is getting annoying now. Every night my connection goes from 100% to total timeout or unbelievably slow. Line condition is normal.

Hi Flanders,
Slow speeds at specific times, normally indicates congestion on your local DSLAM. Please PM us your account details and the times that you have these issues so we can look into this for you.
