this is the equivalent of saying "atheists deny atheism is a religion because they have no god". what is wrong, slow day in the world and so little examples of genocide that they have to take the vaguest definition of a genocide to put up any articles?

if i say i rape someone, but i only hugthem against their will, that is stretching it a bit isn't it?

They don't call what happens to foreigners a genocide either, so actually no, it still wouldn't be a genocide according to SA. I don't think SA has a realistic definition, because it never wants to admit what it is doing.

that is because there is zero genocide happening in SA. even the United Nations laughed at the crazies who sent them a petition asking for help
 
I really don't want to get into this discussion. But you can't compare Bosnia and Rwanda to what's happening here. Especially Rwanda was of an entirely different 'quality'.

At the same token, I am not saying to write off the current events. Just be careful about crying wolf.

No you cant, yet, due to the sheer numbers of the people involved in those countries however, just remember if that happened in SA, there would be much more to lose, its far better to do it slowly to the farmers first.
How many white farmers in SA vs how many have been killed? That alone should show a dangerous level.
Remember that most of these if not all farm attacks usually involve torture.

but again, i agree with you on so many things marine, except this. it's terrible, it happens more often than they should, but for me a genocide has to be organised or slightly more effective and a tad bit faster and organised. this was a house break in, the fact that a boer died means nothing, it doesn't turn into a genocide simply because he is on a farm and he is white, it is the motivation behind it.

If it had no torture and brutality then maybe I would agree with you.
Just remember I have no allegiance to Afrikaaners or farmers. I am trying to show that this is targeted at white farmers, plain and simple. I have no agenda but to say its random acts of crime is bull****.
It is Genocide if it is targeted at a group and white farmers make up a group. They are mainly if not all white, that have been brutally murdered. In my opinion which seems to be fact, they are trying to wipe out the farmers.
Is this not what the Mau Mau did?

The point is not if it's genocide or not. These farm killings have been happening for a while, and the government has done nothing to distance themselves from them, provide safety for the farmers and look for the perpetrators. This is a slippery slope. The land grabs don't need to be government policy. All it takes is a few successful farm invasions without repercussion, and the avalanche will be on its way (if it isn't already). That's the part that worries me most. If you want to call it genocide or simply mass murder, makes not a smidgen of a difference.

Who is doing the perpetration? Do they have support of authorities? Say, the police, gov, etc?

I believe everyone admits crime is spiralling out of control and something drastic should be done about it. Most of it, especially in predominently 'black' communities, doesn't get reported in mainstream media.

You tell me, the gvt disbanded the commandos, they fail to put up any sort of deterrent.
Everything the gvt do seems to be against the farmers. Oh and you have old Julius singing for his zombies to kill them and that's just perfect, the ANC are even prepared to fight the banning of that call to murder, in court.
Support of police? No
Support of gvt behind closed doors? Yes

how many people are killing each other is regardless, it's not going to turn into genocide simply because you don't like what they are doing, it has to fit a certain criteria.

Was there not recently that case against a police chief that also ran a crime syndicate or was somehow related to crime (Not unlike FUZUMA)?
