Hi folks

Here is some additional feedback regarding MyADSL related correspondence. I have been, justifiably, rapped over the knuckles by a few senior members for not publishing all our ‘campaign details’, and will try to keep you all as informed as possible in future :D. Usually I just send letters to all parties involved and only published relevant feedback or correspondence. This is purely due to laziness, but I will do my best to try to more vigilant :D

I have sent ‘physical letters’ (snail mail) to the following people/organizations:

The Department of Communications & Government

The reason why we also send them physical copies of this correspondence is because they denied receiving anything the previous time. Freddie Wright from the DoC advised me to send physical copies of the emails. He promised that they will respond to all of our letters. Just to make certain we sent letters to:

Dr Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri (Minister)
Mr Radhakrishna Roy Padayachie (Deputy Minister)
Ms Lyndall Shope – Mafole (DG)

Just to keep everybody informed we also send letters to Pres. Mbeki and Vice-Pres Zuma :D

ICASA Hearings

We sent a few short letters thanking the following organizations for their participation in the ICASA hearings. We did not want to email since it is usually seen as simply more junk mail…

Internet Solutions
MTN-NS
MWeb

Journalists that covered the ICASA Hearings

We sent a few short letters to most journalists that covered the ICASA hearings. I think they did a great job at reporting on these issues.

Enough for now :D

Regards,

RPM

Hehee - RPM moves from a protocol neophyte to a graduate... :D
Well done, o esteemed chief! :p

LOL @ mbs

Dablakmark8: I did not attend the last day of the hearings...will see what I can get.

RPM, thanks for all the hard work, I don't know who wrapped you over the knuckles - perhaps they need a spanking...? :D

IMO it is important that forumites realise just how much work you do on their behalf to further the cause of broadband, but you should not be forced to document absolutely every microscopic detail - you would end up with no time for the doing...
