More M3 models for SA and pricing

At R 634k for the base sedan model, its just R 12k more than the base RS4.

But, if past form is anything to go by, the Audi has far more standard specs than the BMW.

But otherwise the true competitor to the RS4 has arrived. The AMG will almost certainly cost more than both of them. And lets hope this double clutch system of theirs works better than that doomed SMG.

bit late really considering the RS4 is no longer in production, BMW's new M3 just manages to match up to a car that is no longer in production the BMW designers are fuming

Had an interesting chat with my brother yesterday,
instead of paying 760k for a new M3 with the M Dynamic Pack and glass sunroof etc etc,
why not just get a 996 turbo for 850?
sure its older, but its 100x better...

so true!!! ... cant compare the two ... 996 TT all the way ... went for a drive at the dealer in the new M3 .... what a let down .... the v8 def comes into play ... it like the old m5 ... not the agile beast it use to be ... feels like a pig ... very very disappointed ...still like its looks though

yeah my old man went for a test drive this w/e.. he said it was nothing to brag about, he drives a csl, and he said 1st and 2nd the csl would rip it, but from 3rd that v8 would come back with a vengeance...
but still, rather wait a year and theyll be down to 600 second hand fully loaded

The CSL is the most exciting and best car i have driven ... trust me your mcoupe is alot more fun and engaging than the new M3 .... The E36 M3 would have been your wild 18 yr old, the E46 M3 your 27 yr old and the new M3 your 45 yr old ...

mmm ... E46 M like a 27 yr old that gyms, big muscles, and is very crazy, more so than the E36 M3 if you push the right buttons ... yup the M3 E36 is the wild 18yr old ... mcoupe a crazier 18 yr old ... that clubs alot and no worries in the world, well both the E36 M and Mcoupe would be here ... E92 M3 ... 45 yr old business men that loves his speed boating, skiing, but is a bit more careful, cause he is older and wiser ... thats how i would sum them up ...
