More than 1 adsl line

Is it possible to get more then one adsl line at your house?

yip...one of the questions on the application form does ask:

do you want a new line?

they just bill you as 1 entity for all your lines

so do they install a whole new line at your house? or just qive you two ports on the exchange?

You'll be billed for an additional voice line for each line you install as well.

but is it possible to combine all the lines? do you get a router with more than 1 wan port?

I have 2 ADSL lines. One's private and one's a company line. There is no two port WAN routers available in SA and those that are available here or international only provide ethernet ports for the wan side, therefore you need two normal ADSL modems.

I use two routers and manage the load using a Linux gateway and firewall as router.
