The deputy commander of a U.S. Air Force base in England was baffled by what he'd seen: bright, pulsing lights in the night sky. Britain's defense ministry couldn't explain it either, but concluded that the unidentified flying object posed no threat.

Reports of UFO's are just that, people reporting on things that they do not understand. Now it would be more interesting if there was real testible evidence of spaceships visiting earth, WhiteHouse garden landings, Leviatation of the Effiel Tower, live interviews on Sky TV with the cockpit crew of the spaceships, but until then you'all are mistaken..

Strange how most of these UFO sightings happened decades ago, and the footage is always grainy at best  Same with ghost sightings.

Not really, in reality those UFO sightings was during the time that England last had a [fairly] good cricket side; maybe the UFO's can be explained as the skill leaving the earth :D

Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival

Accompanying the celebration, there are additional cultural or regional customs, such as:

Eating moon cakes outside under the moon Putting pomelo rinds on one's head Carrying brightly lit lanterns, lighting lanterns on towers, floating sky lanterns

Stunned onlookers watch as mysterious orange UFOs swoop across Britain's skies

Residents set off hot air lanterns to mark Duanwu festival in Chengdu, in southwestern China's Sichuan province. The festival is a widely celebrated tradition marked by floating lamps and hot air lanterns. The Duanwu, or Dragon Boat Festival, is observed on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar and marked by eating zongzi or pyramid-shaped rice wrapped in bamboo leaves, and racing dragon boats

Both events are celebrated in the UK too. Sigh

Information is slowly being made available to the media, and the oldest materials are released first, there is a UFO disclosure media plan that has been in effect since 2001.

Newbies to the world should know that back in the days we first had black and white cameras, then colour and very few regular people had them at all.

UFO's identified as ARV's (atmospheric recon vehicles) from motherships of other civilisations have been identified and accepted as such here on earth
by high level staff of governments and military of most nations.

The problem is, that there is nothing any government on earth can do about it,
there is also a psychological aspect to the phenomena that has stumped the CIA/scientific world for decades and they have no control over it.

The psychological phenomena is one related to the finer uses of the mind (brain) and concerns the quantum universe.

I have no doubt that people have seen alien ARV's and that extraterrestrials exist.

It does not mean I threw intellectual caution to the wind, it means
I've read hundreds of documents and offline historical and archeological books to educate myself on this issue and I am satisfied with my own synopsis of the situation.

UFO = Unidentified Flying Object != Immediate assumption that it's "aliens"
*sigh*

I've no doubt these things exist, primarily because I've seen one with my own eyes with witnesses not far from the region of Sandia Labs in Los Alamos during the late 1980's. I'll never forget the sight that night. Gives me goosebumps to this day.
Nuff said.

Everyone thinks that these thousands of sighting are all rubbish, is it that hard to believe we are not alone?

Not that hard to believe, but why has none of these vehicles/UFOs ever landed? Oh, wait, they did, the Evil Americans shot them down and kept it secret.

So what you're saying is that the US government is so awesomely good that not even one 16 year old with a hi-def video cam anywhere in the world has ever snuck a decent clip on to youtube? They control the world so well that if I took a photo of a legitimate alien spacecraft tomorrow, it would only be released when they wanted it to by their careful UFO disclosure project and my colour image would only reach the masses in 50 years time? This is laughable to say the least.

The idea of life on other planets isn't ridiculous. The idea that they're flying god knows how many lightyears across the vastness of space to mutilate our cattle and draw pictures in our corn is. If aliens were really visiting earth there would be real, solid, scientifically verifiable evidence for them. There isn't. There would be a steady stream of undeniable high quality photos and videos coming in from across the globe. There isn't. What we have instead is a bunch of fat Americans weepingly telling us about how metal objects were prodded up their rear ends and drawing classic Hollywood spacemen to identify their supposed attackers.

With millions of amateur astrologists pointing powerful telescopes at the sky ever single day you'd think somebody would have seen something convincing by now. Yet they never do.

Aliens visiting earth is about as believable as bigfoot.

How would you get high quality photos?

Should we all walk around with hd camera's incase we spot an alien?
I will put my house on the fact that if someone captured a quality picture of an alien, people would right it off as a hoax and photo chopped.

I used to be one of these conspiracy theorists but somehow got over it!

I realised that there is no Big Bad World and Government Controlling Corporation.
I have also realised that there might be other life forms in the universe but that they might not be intelligent and might only consist of a single cell.

I have realised that if there a lot of scared people in the world that try and find an answer for everything that goes *bump* in the night and when an answer escapes them, they make one up.
