Most solar shops in my opinion are just guys that had the money and realised this is a good business opportunity
Now yes they do encounter problems because they deal with this every day so they are learning and getting better
But based on my experience of talking to people in these stores they are still clueless
The end-user is paying for their school fees
The bottom line for me is if you want to install solar read up as if you wanna do it yourself then you can make sure you don't get ****ed over in an edge case that nobody thought about or dealt with already
Yes I do think the guys doing the actual install may be a little bit more knowledgeable than the guy flogging you the ****
I'm thinking thus if at least the office staff knows what they're talking about the chances that the installer will know is better
