I asked for a quote of the following and asked if she could keep it to under R8,000.00 - which she couldn't :
ASUS Intel P45, LGA775, 1600FSB, 4xDual DDR2 1200, 1x PCI-x16 , 2xPCI-x1, 3xPCI, 1xATA133, 6xSATAII, 2x eSATA, Gbe Lan, 8ch-Sound, Max 12xUSB, 2x IEEE1394, ATX
Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5Ghz (1333FSB 6MB)
2GB DDRII-1066 Hyper X (Kingston)
2GB DDRII-1066 Hyper X (Kingston)
250GB-7200RPM 8MB Cache
Geforce 9500GT 512MB-DDR2 DVI TV-Out - Inno3D
Midi Tower Case + 350W PSU - Coolermaster - Elite Cool
She decided to cut back on the MB by giving me a cheap one (don't even know what it is ...) and giving me 800mhz memory. Also adding a 500w powersupply as 350w is too small.
Is a MB a big difference? Should I perhaps get the better MB - and cut on the chip?
