Motherboard for new PC

I'm busy putting together the new core components of my PC and have the following pretty much sorted:

E2140
2x1GB Hynix DDR800*
6600GT

And now for the mobo...

I'm hoping to be able to OC my E2140 a little, but not planning on reaching 3GHz or anything, maybe just up to 2GHz or something...

Had a look at the following at PCint.co.za:

[P5KPL-VM] - ASUS Intel G31, LGA775, 1333(OC)FSB, 2xDual DDR2, 1x PCI-x16, On Board VGA, 1xPCIx1, 2xPCI, 1xATA100, 4xSATAII, Gbe Lan, 6ch-Sound, Max 8xUSB, Micro ATX R655

What do you think of that? It makes sense, as I'm buying the CPU and RAM there as well.

I noticed it has the G31 chipset, which I think has built in graphics, which is a little bonus but not really necessary... Oh it says Onboard VGA there, so it abviously does.

What about the G31 chipset itself? Any good. Suport for future CPUs (or even current Quads?).

Will I be able to mount it in my case? A seriously budget Delux (sic) BMW shaped case.

Also, is there any performance loss from micro-ATX? Apart from only two RAM slots, which I'm not too worried about, and fewer PCI slots (ditto) are there any concerns?

*Will having 2 sticks make the RAM go faster, since it can run dual channel?

Apparently the G31 chipset does support current generation quads. I'm not too sure about 45nm... Seems to be a reasonable chipset.

As long as your case conforms to the ATX (or Micro-ATX) standard, you shouldn't have any problems mounting the motherboard. Don't really know whether there is any performance decrease when using Micro-ATX. I don't think it should be a noticeable decrease, if any.

And yes, dual channel RAM does help with performance :)
