Hi
I am busy building a PC which I intend using for gaming.
I am will to spend up to R600 for a motherboard, which do you recommend?

Thanks

It would help if people knew what CPU and RAM you intend to cram into this thing. Either way, you're not going to get much for R600.

For that price you are probably looking at a LGA775 motherboard in which case I will recommend a Gigabyte G31 series board. Nothing fancy but it works.

+1,I also have the same mobo and you can get it for around R550.Not fancy but will get you sorted if you ever need to tweak settings in BIOS.

Memory speed makes a big difference too. Faster memory sets you back quite a bit more than standard RAM.

Lots and lots of lights :P

But with the mobo, have you had a look at the AMD range? Fairly inexpensive and that includes their CPU range a well.

big heat sinks and different colour ram slots
