Dovi was so so clever imo... it looked like he was deliberately pushing Pedrosa on the finish line straight so that Pedrose needs to use more front tyre in the breaking, and eventually Pedrosa's tyres just dropped off.

Yeah good point! Several times Dovi showed Pedrosa a wheel into turn one but backed off, almost like he was saying "I can take you if I want to". Pedrosa was hard and late on the brakes to maintain position and this could definitely have contributed to him falling off the pace once past.

Lorenzo can also take a lot of heart from the second half of his race. He looked like a mobile chicane at one stage but came back strongly. He's out of this year's championship but he could yet prove pivotal in helping Dovi to it. Fascinating times ahead.
