MotoGP 2019

A combo of Brad and Pol would be pretty decent. Pol just needs to minimise the mistakes and hes got a decent bike and decent pace
 
FP2 results. Seems the Yamahas are showing good pace with four of them in the top 5. They had a good test here after Silverstone and so far, that performance seems to be continuing.

Tough day for Brad. No running in FP1 and only 22nd in FP2. Looks like they're on the back foot early this weekend.

Just a note about a scheduling change for this Sunday's round in Aragon. The main race will start at 1pm so that it doesn't conflict with F1 race in Singapore which sets off at 14:10. Moto3 starts at 11:20 and Moto2 at 14:30.

All times above are SA time. A lekker motorsport Sunday :thumbsup:
 
Well this doesn't bode well for Sunday. Marquez more than a second and a half clear of the rest of the field in FP1 at Aragon

No surprises at the winner but great rides from Dovi and Jack Miller to round out the podium. If Marquez wins the next race in Thailand, the championship is over.

Just caught the replay. Yeah, what a ride! If that bike was just 20% better from the start of the year, he'd be right in this championship hunt. Incredible rider!
 
I see Aleix Espargaro races with number 41 on his Aprilia, as does Brad Binder in Moto2 on the KTM. One of them is going to have to concede that number for next year when Brad arrives in MotoGP. Will it be Brad I assume?

As the established rider, Aleix keeps it. Brad will have to pick another.

Soothing similar happened in football a few years ago, club signed a new #9 and the incumbent refused to give up theirs so they compromised by having a 9 and a number '9+9'

So....4+1 for Brad? lol

Lol, for the most part bikers aren't prima donnas like footballers are (maybe Lorenzo aside). I can't see Brad kicking up a fuss if he has to choose a new number.
