I still think they're those crucial tenths behind Ducati. I also think the introduction of the chicane hasn't helped as, by Brad's admission in a piece on MotoGP.com, they lack slow corner performance compared to Ducati. They do come on strong later in the season though as development continues so let's hope they bring something to the bike this weekend.

The Ducati's are very good, seems Brad and Jack are good team mates which helps the team.
 
Great ride from Brad, but that Ducati is just too much.

Miller better be careful, KTM need to accommodate Pedro Acosta and he isn't doing himself any favours with his race performances of late. I know yesterday was tough on the tyres, but his tumble down the order was shocking and he went backwards at Silverstone as well.

Brad is locked in; Augusto is still young, and he's been pretty good for a rookie, and Pol holds huge value as a development rider, so Jack is skating on thin ice.

Would be a pity if Jack gets dropped. Don't think Pol and Brad will have the same relationship (assuming Pol gets factory bike)

And again , Moto3 was a stunner :D

Yeah this was my thinking too yesterday watching Jack slip down the order on the same machinery and same tyre combo as Brad.

He's a great guy, but he has now had two shots with a factory team and isn't covering himself in glory. He is running out of time to prove that he is the guy.

They were teammates in Brad's first season in MotoGP. Pol is also familiar with KTM, he was with them when they entered MotoGP and played a big part in their gradual development, so very much a team player. And they wouldn't need to move him to accommodate Acosta, they can keep him with GasGas alongside Augusto and send Acosta straight to the main team as Brad's teammate.

The other wildcard is Marc Marquez, whom KTM have mentioned in the past. I know KTM has pushed for a 3rd team, but FIM/Dorna blocked that because they want a factory team (Suzuki return or someone new) to join or will give first preference to Yamaha for a satellite team as they are the only manufacturer on the grid without a satellite. But even then, there is no way KTM risk losing Acosta, so they will accommodate him, and Jack looks to be the odd man out.
 
Interesting to see what happens at Pramac Ducati now that Zarco is leaving. The assumption was that Bezzecchi would move there but now it seems that he is staying at Mooney VR46. That means a very coveted Ducati ride is now available. Marc Marquez to go there maybe?

Apparently Rossi is going to work his magic and try and get Franco in to Pramac. He wants Bez to stay with him (Mooney VR46), he firmly believes he can win a championship with Bez. Paddock murmurs are Rossi has talked Ducati in to giving him a GP24 next season, and this is the carrot he will use to entice Bez in to staying with the team.

But yes, there is one coveted Ducati seat up for grabs.

Hmm. Curious to see then how much sway Rossi has with Ducati in getting one of his riders a seat there. Apart from the obvious Italian connection, his stint with them as a rider was far from successful and IMO, Morbidelli is a shell of his former self when he was at Razlan Razali's satellite Yamaha team. Maybe he'll get a new lease of life on a Ducati though.

The last thing KTM need is MM93. Him and Zarco can do a straight swop :)
