MotoGP 2023

The way the KTMs are dragging MM93 into Q2 one would think he is part of their team :) Last week it was Miller, this week Danny. Danny was already safe, I would've just slowed down and let Marc fight it out in Q1

But Moffie MM always does that, slip streams into a good quali position, ALWAYS...

Pity Brad had a crap start. He was flying. Definitely would've been on for a podium had he got away well.

Pecco will do well to hang on for 28 laps tomorrow but a solid ride from him today.

It will be a mammoth effort for his to last a full distance. Super happy for Pedrosa but what happened to Jack !?

Frankie is off to Prima Pramac

Hope this gives him a new lease on life and he can show us that pace that challenged Fabio

Good luck to him! He's been in the Yamaha doldrums for a while so hopefully he finds a new lease of life on that Ducati. So that's another door closed on Marc Marquez. Seems likely now that he will stay on that Honda for another year.

They confirmed that Marquez was committed to Honda for next season.
They must be paying him big bombs.

Will be interesting to see what approach he adopts. If the Honda is another dog to ride, will he be happy to just potter around on the outskirts of the top 10? It goes against his nature as a competitor but he may decide that it may be worth his while staying crash and injury free with a view to just seeing out his contract and getting out of there.

I'm confused by this - wouldn't they want Ai Ogura instead?
I think two things to factor here. The first is Ogura hasn't really kicked on this year after his title near miss last year. Had he come out of the blocks firing and was mixing it with Acosta, Dixon and Arbolino, he'd be in the frame.

The second thing is that the Honda is such a bitch to ride at the moment, and throwing a rookie onto it and expecting him to deliver is surely not a recipe for success. So they're banking on Nakagami, as a known quantity, to help them develop their way out of their current predicament.

What a recovery by Bez, some stinking laps there

Yeah, excellent recovery. Great start as well from Brad but a pity he couldn't kick on and take Marquez for that podium spot.

He (Brad) seemed to run out of tyre at the end there and Marc also rode a great defensive race

Top 3 in Moto3 world championship separated by 1 point. Holgado and Masia tied on 174 with Sasaki on 174
