MotoGP 2023

Championship wide open. Enthralling race!

Pecco has thrown away 50+ points since Barcelona. MotoGP and Moto3 having awesomely close racing and seasons

Something is not right with KTM and especially Miller…seems off the pace. So nice to see Joan Mir pick up some good points

Hope Martin will be ok

I reckon it's pretty obvious that Martin unzipped his leathers, but it's just as obvious that he won't be penalized.
The on board camera must have "malfunctioned" the moment the zipper went down.
Some of the perks of the Spanish and Italian riders.

It could be open to interpretation. The rules apparently say that you may not remove your protective gear, which is what Quartararo fell foul of in Catalunya a year or two ago when he tossed his chest guard. If Martin just unzipped and rezipped his leathers, he may have technically stayed within the laws. It looks like it's the laws themselves then that need to be looked at.

And potentially a suit that is more breathable for higher humidity / temperature races

The airbag functionality is lessened when the suit is unzipped so it's still dangerous. But like you say, it's open to interpretation, and of course on those interpreting. Race Direction's preferential treatment is well documented.

Great 2nd for BB33 in the sprint this morning!
Looking forward to the race tomorrow - that KTM is a rocket off the line, pity still got nothing on the Ducs

Nice races from Moto3 & 2 - Pity Oncu wanted to be greedy and take on Sasaki and must say, Darren is doing quite "ok" since his comeback from injury, not a bad result for him - from starting 18th to 10th...
Anyways, time for Brad to win *touch*wood*

And I jinx'd Brad :(

Rain effected race - boooooo

Oh well, onto the next 1

Jeez he went down hard. Similar to what happened to Quartararo in FP2 by the looks of it. A pity though. He was just starting to come back at Juan Mir.

This title chase is well open.

Not sure why the organizers decided to start the race on slicks and then in the 1st lap opens up the pit lane for bike changes. That was a ******** mess :( It's not like it started raining all of a sudden. Surely you can delay the start for a few minutes to allow for proper changes and have a decent MotoGP
