MotoGP 2023

Shuuuuu…. New WC leader .. 4 sprints in a row

Tough race for Brad and a huge shame for Maverick

What a ride by the Mooney boys who between them are walking wounded

Uncharacteristically scrappy from Brad. He's going to be walking up and down the paddock after the race apologizing it seems.

Double Standards!
There I've said it..

Great drive by Brad - DLLP's, going off and still finish ( just got pipped off 5th ) 6th - BRILLIANT !
Everyone was driving "scrappy" so I wouldn't just single Brad out - so many crashes this weekend at Indonesia ( MM93 was expected to crash out so he doesn't count )

The 1st one I could sort of agree with, the 2nd was a racing incident for me. if Aleix can come in off the racing line, take someone out and get away with no further action taken, surely that little bump didn't warrant a llp

Call me a sour patriot, but a patriot I am ;)

Is there anyone with the MotoGP app on AppleTV able to watch old races / race highlights etc?

Brad was scrappy yesterday.

Not a good look for Miller that Brad still ends up beating him after serving two long-lap penalties.

This is probably gonna get me flamed but I have felt that Miller is more hype than anything else in MotoGP

100% agreed. Likable guy does stoppies. That about sums him up.

I have the same opinion of Danny Ricciardo in F1. Another fun guy who could once upon a time drive fast, but now he is largely trading on his image of being the jokester.

Either way, with the alien Pedro Acosta joining Gas Gas next year, Brad and Jack will likely be riding for their KTM futures and right now Jack is sitting on the hot seat.

Yeah, Jack looks like a super chilled and likeable guy (what is it about Aussie motor racing drivers: Webber, Ricciardo, Piastri, Miller, Stoner being down to earth blokes in comparison to their team sport orientated counter parts...). If the stories are to be believed, he has been instrumental in the development of this year's bike as well as the absolute wealth of knowledge he brought with him from Ducati.

But something just hasn't clicked for him this year on that KTM. He seems to be perennially running around at the mid bottom of the top 10. With the arrival of Acosta now, it seems 2024 will be his final year on that factory seat. I can't see Acosta kicking around for 2 years on the satellite bike. Brad is locked into KTM until the end of 2026 so he's fine but he's riding at a super high level right now (this weekend aside) so he would have had nothing to worry about anyway.

He was inconsistent with Ducati as well, exhibiting the same trend of qualifying well and starting fast, then slipping back. Quite a few errors as well when he was with them.

Definitely value in terms of development, but I think we have seen all he can offer as a rider and this may be his last factory seat.
