Motor conversion advice needed

You have not driven a turbo yet have you ? Or if you have you can't drive it correctly. I'm not dishing you but have you even owned a turbo and raced it ? If done correctly your Clutch will last 3 months most ;) But if it's for daily driving, why waiste the money, leave it as is :o

Just my 2c

Thanx bud, I have driven turbo cars before including a Gt R monster 636kw and a few pro drive scooby's and the odd noble m12 so i like turbo cars and ive driven quite a few of them!! The thing im sick of are these guys with their M3's and scooby's who think they own the road and i just wanna teach a few of them a lesson. I won't be driving the car hard everyday, only when some patheic excuse for a driver pushes me out the way to get ahead of the pack...I hate that!!

The car has a Gt500 motor in it. originally a 5,4litre GT500 motor pushing out 300bhp, the previous owner bored the motor upto 5,7litre pushing roughly 325bhp.

I drove an STI 200 but revered to it as 2litre STI
If he said he drove an Eleanor then that would have been a completely different story ;)

Thank you pit bull!! omw i'd love to own an Eleanor...a replica goes for about $90 000...Don't have that kinda money!!

Well dude, he claims to have a GT500 motor in his car.

Cause the guys at japtech said that would be the perfect motor to run in my car. What do you think?

Well you have to redo all the mountings so you have a choice of a billion motors. Reason I'm asking, they could sell you a Tredia Turbo motor and you would not know the difference - 20 year old engine.

I personally would go for a Honda engine, just my 2c ofc. You could get a nice engine for 7k get a turbo and conversion for about another 7k which is little bit more, however much more reliable. That's what I think
