I went to Speed Queen Academy in Centurion, will highly recommend them.

But closer to Roodepoort is Biker Bravado in Randburg. They do their courses at Randburg Sports complex on the corner of Republic and Malibongwe if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, not having a bike or a friend changes everything

And that's why getting a friend to teach you in an hour is no way to learn.

You need to be completely natural and riding on muscle memory by the time you do your license.


Not just to pass the K53 bull****, but to actually stay alive.

OP : Pay the money and do the proper training...you'll be a much better and safer rider for it.

And don't be so stuck on doing it in your area...rather focus on getting the BEST training available.

Dude it's really not that bad. 16 year old kids learn on 125cc bikes in a day. It's not complex. If you have already been driving a car for a few years, even less so.

I prefer not to gauge my livelihood against 16 year olds...I've never actually seen one that can ride properly.

There is getting from A to B and then there is actually riding.

Proper training will always win out over self-taught of learning from a friend...unless of course they are professionals in this regard.

Most people also can't drive to save their lives...

Sorry man, didn't mean to go on a rant.

It's just that the state of our roads is largely due to a lack of driver education.

Taking short cuts is what got us to the shocking state it currently is.
