Cars without e-tags will pay higher toll fees

Motorists do not need e-tags on their cars to be recognised when the controversial tolling of Gauteng’s major freeways is implemented, but its going to cost them more money, the transport department said on Wednesday.

I refuse to pay their ****ing kak fees. I will do everything I can to avoid the highways and if I do drive on it I will not pay. No ways you can afford these new fees. For me and my fiance it will be like R1600 a month extra. Where are u supposed to get the extra money?? ****ERS!!!! Lets burn these things!!!!! Who's with me???

Funniest part is, that all these "enhancements" they have made to the highways (opening a whole 1 extra lane) has made **** all difference IMO. Traffic on the highways is still congested as hell.

Well, these days I can actually drive all the way from Olifantsfontein to Atterbury on the N1 and don't have to go R55>N14>N1>R21>Hans Strydom because the N1 is too congested. So the improved interchanges/offramps and onramps have made a diffirence.
