Violent Night (2022) 7/10.

Entertaining enough, lives up to its title on the violence front. Wanted to like it more, but the kid / family were so annoying, and John Leguizamo was pretty weak, a miscast imo.

Glass Onion (2022)
8/10
Very entertaining, although I did prefer the cast from the original but I'm glad they chose to take a different route/approach with this one. Edward Norton played his role perfectly as the character you just love to hate.

Popped my cherry, 1st film watch of '23. Starting off on a good note.

RRR (2022) 7/10

For the most part it is worth the hype. Very much a spectacle, a feast on the eyes & ears, the storytelling really impressed me along with the action sequences. It is very much still a Bollywood film so that brings along all those (many) eccentricities, if you can look past that you will find an engaging 3hr action drama.

Check out the list of accolades it has received!

Perhaps watch Baahubali 1 and 2 - close to 6 hours.

When some of the early "indy" film reviewers started mentioning RRR I didn't pay attention when trying to download it.
I ended up getting this instead...

Sodium Day (2022) 6/10

Watched on the ’Flix. A messy story & structured comedy drama BUT it’s a proper CC film shot in CT, rocking the perfect lingo & accents. Has charm & character in spades.

Bullet Train (2022)
5/10
Annoying characters and dialogue. Director tries way too hard to be like Tarantino/Ritchie but it just doesn't work. Only positive is some of the action scenes.
