Bolt - 8/10

Story line: Bolt is a dog who believed he had super powers. He lost his "person" and goes on adventure to find his person again.
 
Captain America 7/10
Didn't watch in 3D. I think 3D movies should now be rated on an 'Avatar' scale.
Will watch Conan in 3D though.

Kinda annoyed that they would allow such an awesome story to be butchered like this. Reading the book was a defining moment in my misspent youth.
 
Rise of the Planet of the Apes - 7/10

Watched this one at the cinema. Not on 3D, thank goodness, tired of 3D movies.

This was better than Marky Mark's one. More drama than action, so don't expect action right through.

The CGI was excellent. It's made over 100 million in the USA.
 
Rise of Planet Of The Apes...exceeded my expectations. Started off a bit slow but then picked up in the 2nd half, brilliant movie. Would give it an 8/10...might even be in my top ten fliks of 2011!
 
I'd give captain america an 8/10 really enjoyed it. In terms of the futuristic weapons etc its staying very true to the comics so you cant fault them there.. P.s hope you'll stayed and watched the teaser at the end, some assembly required.... ;-)
 
watched faster with Dwayne "the rock" Johnson.

Good movie about a brother taking revenge over his brothers death.

My thoughts exactly,also loved that its probably the only blockbuster not in 3D

The one with Jason Statham? If it is I would give it a 6.5 as it kind of blurs into all the other Statham films, yet it is worth a watch if you just want to switch off.

Water for Elephants - 6/10

A cute love story based on/in the circus during the Depression. Parts were slow but still entertaining.

If you liked The Notebook, I think you'll enjoy this one.
 
Did the western Movies weekend.

Rango 8/10. Not really a kiddies movie though. Way too much adult humor in it

Cowboys vs Aliens. 7/10. Nice action. Title explains it all

I seriously thought this movie was going to tank as do most prequels,but there does seem to be universal praise coming from all quarters.Its even doing excellent business despite its lukewarm marketing campaign.
Looking forward to seeing it.
