Life of Pi = 8/10. Brilliant movie. Drama / fantasy and lovely storyline!

Also give it a 8.
Not since Avatar have we seen such beautiful images in 3D.
The CGI were jaw-dropping as well.

A young lawyer (Daniel Radcliffe) travels to a remote village where he discovers the vengeful ghost of a scorned woman is terrorizing the locals.

A few good scares. 7/10

Savages - 8/10.so full of over the top sex and violence that this movie comes across as more of a satire, very similar to Natural Born Killers.

It was actually not too bad, I really enjoyed it.

Dredd - 4/10

The only reason this movie was made was for the 3D effects. Also parts of the movie were shot in JHB and Cape Town.

Life of Pi - 9/10. Actually a pretty flawed movie in some ways but no denying the essential power of the story and the special effects, and the main character's performance was outstanding - not to mention the 'other' main character being one of the best CGI creations ever made. Ang Lee's best movie for me, though I've never been one of his great fans.

John dies at the end - 4/10 To understand this movie you'll have to be tripping out of your mind.

Killing them Softly - 5/10 I expected so much more from this Brad Pitt movie, but I found it too slow. Mostly chit chatting.

Deadfall - 7/10.very similar to Reeinder Games with a stellar cast.Eric Bana and Olivia Wilde.
Arbitrage - 8/10.Undoubtedly Richard Gere's finest performance.effective corporate thriller.
Brooklyns Finest - 7/10.Finally got to watch this.Violent and cliched but some memorable moments.

A movie about the events leading up to the assisination of Bin Laden.

If you enjoy the series Homeland, then this is your type of movie.

Action film with a sci-fi twist. Didn't expect much but was a little suprised at how it turned out.

Nice watch for when your trying to kill time. Entertaining at the least.

Tree of Life 3/10 - I have seen and enjoyed 2001 and Cloud Atlas but this movie had me properly conf***ed. I thought someone was screwing with me and inserted NatGeo segments inbetween the movie.

Premium Rush - 6/10

Expected more from this movie. Felt like I was watching Tour de France in New York. Too much bike riding.

+1, the plot was also thin and the ending poor. 5/10
