jobs - the movie. 2/10. bad reflection on all members and no real story

Car to (objectively) share if those bad reflections are accurate or sensationalist? And how was Kutcher?

You need to remember that Jobs is not as much a movie as it is a biography. I would advise anyone to first read the autobiography and then watch the movie, which is basically a watered-down version.

I think ashton was the perfect choice for the role. He did great according to me.

Again, if you want to see Steve Job's life story and share a journey through all his inventions, his time at Apple and more, this is not the movie to watch.

World War Z - watched it in 3D... enjoyed it... the plot seemed plausible to me and the action was intense from start to finish. 8/10

Zero Dark Thirty - 8/10

A little late, but I enjoyed this. I know it is "Hollywoodafied", but appreciated that they kept notable events in check (bombings, heli incident etc). ZDT tells of the events that ultimately lead to the killing of Bin Laden and I'd say is well worth the 2hr30m watch.

Apparently JCVD is his best performance.

Movie info looks intriguing.. will look out for it. Thanks :)

"In Hell" was quite refreshing though.. after all the crap that he has been in.. it was great to watch a Van Damme movie that didn't make me cringe (in a bad way)

Watched 2 'apocalyptic' movies yesterday.

First, finally watched 'World War Z'. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Definately a movie I would recommend.

Secondly, watched "In the End".. to me this movie seems like Rogen got together with a few pals.. smoked a bit too much pot, and came up with an idea for a movie, with a great deal of drug-inspired plots and twists.
Pissed me off a bit, coz it seems like they figured they could make any crap, and based on the popularity of the cast, they would still make money.

Finally watched Alien from my new Aliens Anthology blueray box set I got recently ... and even after what .... 30 years this is still one of the best alien movies out there. Cant wait to watch the others. :-)

8/10 :-)

Took the kids to watch Planes on Saturday. 5/10. Not nearly as endearing as Cars 1 or 2 and the most predictable plot I have ever seen. My son enjoyed it but I found it boring for the most part. Animated movies these days are often good for all audiences so it was kind of a let down.

The Croods in 3D... 9/10.. Best animated movie I've watched in ages, physically laughed at some of the scenes. The fact that the main characters pet's name is belt killed me.

The animals living in the world are really well thought out and imaginative... and the 3D was done really well.

Stop at Aliens

After Earth: 2/10. Oh my goodness it was painful to watch that kid try and find the beacon. One of the most frustrating movies I have watched. Wanted to go through the screen and shake the kid awake. Just because your dad is an actor doesn't mean you will be good at it too.

I watched the beginning and was trying to figure out why the kid always had such a pained expression. Was he experiencing bad constipation or what? On the point of tears as well.

He was dealing with some deep seeded issues :p

Didn't think Will was good in this role either.. Plot holes everywhere and confusion all around.

+1 kept waiting for the best part, unfortunately there was none.

Do a google image search on him... that is his only expression.

Tried watching it yesterday... fell asleep halfway through... and to be honest.. I don't have any inclination to go back and watch the rest..

No, it was boring and 1h40 mins I will never get back. The plot was boring, the acting absolutely terrible, even for Will Smith - it must have been his worse performance ever. His child has this idiotic expression (like frowning as if he doesnt know what is going on) all through the movie, and is just absolutely painful to watch.
