Castaway on the Moon (2009) - 9/10

I really enjoyed this korean movie, what a refreshing movie.

Guy tries to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge, fails and ends up on an island in the middle of the river. First he tries to get off but then starts to accept it & embrace it.

Meanwhile a depressed antisocial girl with a online cyber existence that has not left the high rise flat across the river in years spots the castaway one night while she takes photos of the moon (a hobby of hers). He becomes her 'alien' and the story develops from here onwards.

Well worth a watch

The movie should've been called Niki Lauda though, the story was more about him than anything else.

This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I LOVED the nature scenes, the story was superb, it was funny, sad, thrilling, enthralling all in one!! What a stunning stunning movie!!

This is the remake in the cinemas. The original was just as good, but wanted to see the remake as well. Really really enjoyed it!! Am downloading Castaway on the Moon now

About time - 7/10 - Really good message, but I found the movie boring.
Rush - 7/10 - Good movie, but the documentary on the rivalry was better.
Madly Madagascar - 2/10 - I love animation but this was poor.
