Its called the best actress curse. Only Charlize and Jennifer Lawrence are still making decent movies. I think it has something to do with the speeches they give and Halle's was the worst.

Nope. You will enjoy it even if you aren't a comic book fan (I'm not)

It's really a movie a lot of people will enjoy! Can't wait to own this in 3D!!!

Captain America - Winter Soldier 7/10

Good movie - a nice take on the classic superhero story, but also with a storyline straight out of the 1970's Post-Watergate distrust of government. (Or Post-Snowden?) A good cast - nice touch to see Robert Redford really play up his character in a serious role.
Car chases, fight scenes, nostalgia showing how Cap is handling 75 missing years, some really deft cgi (She wasn't wearing make-up when Cap visited her) - a nice movie.

One complaint - Samuel Jackson never says Mother****er. Not once.

The Kid 9/10

Jeez! Its wierd seeing Natascha McElhone in a role like an abusive mother. Make up was well done.

The Kid is a 2010 British biopic about the life of Kevin Lewis. Based on his autobiography of the same name, it is the story of a boy growing up in a violent, abusive family on a council estate in the 1980s.
