Mission Impossible: RN. 8.5/10. Undoubtedly the best in the series just because they took a 20 year old formula and successfully managed to inject it with all the right ingredients to make it awesome.
Has some Bond elements thanks to the British angle and a super creepy villian. Female lead is also the best in the series but the PDR has to be the motorcycle chase that outdoes all the action sequences in all the series. Don't miss.
 
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (2015) - 6/10

Fun watch, some very funny moments and that motorcycle chase!

Watched this a second time in 3D on my own TV, after watching it in 3D in cinema. The cinema's 3D projection was a f-up, so vowed to rewatch it when I could download it. So I did. Would like to up my score and change my opinion.

St. Vincent (2014) 6/10

One of those feel-good type comedies with Bill Murray. Naomi Watts role as the burned out Russian hooker with appropriate accent is atrocious.
 
Mad Max Fury Road: 7.5/10
First part of the movie was like WTF. Too rushed and confusing. Then it gets better in the second half once we get to learn the characters a bit more. Definitely a movie of two halves. :)
They could have done a better job at character building. And telling the story of how the earth ended up like that.

No idea why call it Mad Max though. The movie is all about Charlize Theron's character.... She totally dominates the movie and kicks ass.

Dislikes:
Mad Max's character. Seemed a bit wimpy at first. No real character building. Didn't seem to be too mad.
Action sequences was too rushed in many scenes. Too much going on.
Movie going too fast in the beginning without telling a proper story.
Bloody Ozzie accents. :sick:

Likes:
Good special effects.
Stunning looking cars/trucks.
Guitar guy on the truck was super cool.
Charlize Theron's character.
 
The Wedding Ringer - 7/10 ...... didn't think it would have much to offer but it turned out to be a decent lads comedy.

It Follows - 7/10 ..... creepy as hell
 
Third Person (2013) 7/10

Stellar cast; good performances from all but may seem a notch confusing until you read deeper & get the key angle.

you know i didn't get this one at all.. yep loads of action but story - weak.. very weak..

The Love Punch (2013) 5/10

"A divorced couple scheme to recover the retirement money that was stolen from them." Even with the strong cast of Pierce Brosnan & Emma Thompson the movie comes across as cheesy & weak.
 
I also thought that MM: Fury Road was terrible, kuk actually.

There was no acting, no story or character development.
Most if not all off the chasing/action scenes were "sped up" to make stuff seem more hectic.
The Valhalla and spraying silver paint was comical and laughable and made no sense whatsoever apart from an incredibly feeble attempt to create some kind of cult atmosphere.
And the moron with the flame spewing guitar was the nail in the coffin.

2/10 ( Just 'cos the breeders were sexy and sweaty....)

/ Flame suit on while driving away at normal high speed.

The should have just called that lesbian movie 'fury road'.

The Drama on MyBB movie thread (2015) - 7/10

Basicalky it started off with a comment. Then found out there was history behind it. Have only watched an hour and a bit. Have not a clue how its gonna end. The character development is quite interesting. Will update review later
