Les Miserables - 2/10 This movie had potential to be a great movie, but instead they butchered it by making it into a musical. If I wanted to watch a musical, I would watch it on Broadway.

Just came back from it now. All around me people were sobbing their little hearts out ...

Not a dreadful movie maybe 6/10 but really does nothing for me :o

Just watched Argo.

8 out of 10.

Some intense nail biting moments!

Flight - 6.5/10

Great acting and good story but I got irritated in the middle parts of it. 10/10 for opening scene though :p

Gangster Squad - 6.5/10. Nothing special story wise but thoroughly enjoyed it. The humour had me in stitches and the cast was brilliant.

+1, not a classic but a very entertaining film. Good for when friends come over and you are not in the mood to think too much, yet want something a tad deeper than the latest Stallone movie :D

6.5/10

I enjoyed it, the stylized slow-mo fight scenes I thought were out of place save that for the all out action flicks but it was entertaining and I feel it deserved a 7/10

SO wants to watch this. In a rare moment of weakness I agreed :(

I hate musicals!

Here comes the boom - 7 / 10

I put this on not expecting much. The fighting scenes did not look overly fake (barring maybe once or twice out of a hundred shots), the story line although predictable lead to more than one laugh.

O and Salma Hayek.... yum.

Eina! Does at least go some way to towards explaining why a movie with everything going for it in terms of story, soundtrack and actors was just so ... meh
Film Crit Hulk is a treasure. You'd think it would be a gimmicky one-note thing, but he's actually an incredibly gifted writer. check out his article on Fight Club.

I actually liked it because of that, it's what distinguishes it from every other movie from that era. I didn't want an Untouchables clone.

The Sweeney (2012)

I loved the 70's show and loved this movie too. Really gritty, violent, lots of action and realistic. 8/10

No American cop movie comes close.
