So it's a reboot of Anaconda, wherein they are making a reboot of Anaconda, then their reboot of Anaconda hits a snag, and the plot becomes a reboot of Anaconda... Did I get that right?

Close enough, though you might have mentioned that their initial(?) Anaconda gets the boot and that triggers more Anaconda.
