Moving from 1 Hdd to another

Hi,

My old hdd died and have reinstalled windows on an old 40gb drive.

Within the next month I want to buy myself a 160gb hdd.

Will I be able to copy my data (using some ghost software) to the 160gb hdd from the 40gb hdd eventually, and not have to reinstall windows?
