so i currently had an old SD PVR. But its very noisy and runs super hot. I want to get rid of it and buy a cheap HD Decoder (see they going for under 500 bucks).

here is my question. will my current twin lnb cable setup work with the new decoder ? Or is there some other cabling required ?

Where are you based? I'll give you a SD PVR and a Pace HD PVR for R450

but i don't want an SD PVR, i already have one i'm looking to get rid off :) what i need to know is, how will the cabling work ? Will my current LNB cabling work on the HD decoder ?

it should work as far as I know........... the new HD PVR only has two LNB inputs so it should not require any cabling changes. Even with the new Explora it should not require an changes. You can double check with the place you buy it but I am pretty sure it doesnt.

Won't multichoice replace a faulty SD PVR's with a new Explora for free currently? Or is that only if you have a care package?
