Moving in with pets

Surprising with all the stories about cats and dogs out there, they actually learn to get on very well together.

Make sure the cats have got their own space where the dog cant intrude, perhaps a room with a latch to keep the door slightly ajar.

Get a dog crate to put the dog in when you want some quite time with it and the cats. Dog learns to be chilled around them.

She has cats as well and the dog doesn't hurt them (it can't really ...) but it irritates them to no end. They're constantly ontop of things to get away from him, he chases them around the garden until they find a tree, I always hear them meowing because his face is constantly under their tails. I'm secretly waiting for one them to whack him in the face ....

You've been dating a month, slow down cowboy.

2 months now ;) But I understand what you're saying.

Started with her saying she should train the dog at a place near my house and then stop over with him. I said no dogs at my place - and then got thinking how it works for others. I mean, what if a bull terrier and another pet? That must be tough

It's ok, at least now I know nobody likes me

As that wasn't directed at me, I kinda like you still. Sorta :/

In fairness though, you must admit it looked like a jab

If it's one of those little yapping rat "dogs" it's simple. Just get a Maine Coon, he'll accidentally eat the doggie one morning.

Edit: I see now that it is :D

It's bad for your Bull Terriers health to feed it other pets ... (like yorkies or any small furry thing that is trying to run away)

+1 :D

I had a Color Pointer (Persian/Siamese cross) Big long haired cat with the temperament of a Saimese, he chased the neighbors dog quite a few times.

Wow. Just...Wow.

Unless you are his wife - then I'm sorry.

EDIT: Wait, you are the OP. That comment was in reference to Kilgore's comments.

Where do you get the idea that my wife isn't a cat person?

Either you are high or this is the clumsiest backpeddling I have ever seen on MyBB.

Talk about your random attacks from nowhere.
