Hi guys! Moving soon and i would like to set my dish myself at my new house. I've seen a product from ellies, i think its called a dish transponder, that allows you to set the dish using an earpiece. Are there any other solutions?

Installing DSTV is not rocket science, I've been doing my own installations for years. By all means, get yourself the earpice thingy, or the metered version. Personally, I have the meter model only because it was allot cheaper. I would prefer the earpiece though.
Just make sure that the connections points on the LNB are sealed tight with insulation tape, otherwise (as I learned the hard way halfway through a Springbok game!) moisture will build up in the early evening causing you to loose signal completely.

You could do it without the equipment. It's worth a try and I managed it.
1. The dish needs to point roughly east. Rough is enough for now.
2. There is a vertical angle on the bracket. This needs to be set at 35.5 degrees - it's marked.
3. The angle of the LNB needs to be set at 15h30 to 16h00 when looking at the dish.
4. Wait for about 09h00, and look at your neighbours dish. Look at the angle at which the LNB stalk hits the dish ... like a sundial and orient yours accordingly, using a clock reference.
If you neighbour has it right, you'll get it right.

When you move your dish, just take out the entire thing from the wall, i.e. Bracket from the wall without loosening anything or touching the LNB.
When you get to your new place, just check which direction your neighbours dishes are facing. Connect your receiver to the dish, put the volume on high, move the dish from left to right, at some point you will hear something coming from your TV, at this point tighten the screws
