Mozilla launches app store to rival smartphone giants

All Good and whell, having a web browser for an OS.. One problem with it.. In Sout-Africa and other countries where bandidth is not as cheap as breathing air, it cannot work + Our Infrastructure is already so over populated, that getting decent signal these days is getting more and more difficult...

But does it use bandwith, or does it just utilise the browser app itself as a type of virtual machine?

Good question. It could be that the web app doesn't use any more bandwidth than a regular app would. It all depends on implementation though.
