Mp3 player and PC

I want to add music for my sister to her mp3 player. But my pc doesn't pick it up. :confused:

The cable is fine, when I play in a 2.5" HD it detects it.

Funny thing is when I plug in the mp3 player, I hear the noise when the pc detects something, put nothing pops up.

Has it worked be4 ? What make ? If its new and generic.. it could be forked :p

Did u try the usb ports at the back ?

It's a new one.

Sandisk make.
I only have working ports at the back ATM.
All other devices works fine (flash drive, hard drive)
 
Maybe you've already installed it somehow? Check administrative tools>disk management, maybe it's there ;)
 
so if you go into disk management its not there?

changing the drive letters does not always work, u may have to set it to active before it reads it
 
Switch off your pc. Run around your house 3 times with no clothes on and come back and switch it on. It should work ;)
 
Okay, stick it in and look in Device Manager, do you see it there?
