I'm so Goth, my wrists slit themselves
So have been scouring the web, all the usual places for where you might find PSP's, people are straight up retarded with their prices some asking 1.5K for just a console, others R899 cheapest I managed to find was R700.00 and most of them are the very first PSP's that came out.Secondhand really isn't worth it any thing more then R500.00 without accessories isn't worth it.

I am looking at specifically getting one for homebrew for NES and GBA.I did find the MP5 player of gearbest, so I tried to find some of them locally and managed to find one. R600 (including shipping) odd bucks for the MP4 console, which allows you to play NES/SNES/GBA/GBcolor Sega/megadrive roms, it is exactly what I am looking for for nes games.

I could always just play all those games on my android tablet, but even then the touch screen mechanics doesn't feel the same for me.

The alternative is to get a bluetooth remote controller for the tablet, R359 odd being the cheapest isn't practical, wired ones slightly cheaper, but you lose the ability to charge the tablet on low battery.

Considering I am looking at playing emulation games, this MP5 player looks perfect.Does any one else have one what is the verdict ? Should I get the PSP at R700.00 will allow additional emulation types and the benefit of PSP games, only issue is pro duo cards are stupidly expensive in general, I don't think this PSP comes with one. MP5 player uses normal Sd cards and they are a dime a dozen. ?

What do you guys thing worth the risk ?

I found a first gen PSP and some games just the other day. Guess that's not going to be of any use to anyone though. :o

I'm pretty sure you can get a pro duo to SD card adapter.

I would get the PSP. God of War!

I got a couple PSP's lying around that I can sell. I'm in Durban thou.

Looks like I will be ordering the MP5 over the weekend, I did find an empire handheld that also allows loading of games, which I am also considering, but looks like it only handles NES, where as the MP5 handles, NES, GBA, and Sega. The mp5 battery is on the weaker side, but planning on getting a powerbank which should significantly boost play time.

Empire handheld has no information as to battery size or any other information, so it's a bit of a risk.
