Yes, because running a 3rd Party Windows 7 look alike shell and losing out on many of the really nice new features in my overlords spyware is what everyone wants to do.
Yes. Losing nice new features you don't need and gaining productivity. BTW, spyware and Bitcoin mining now mostly comes from Microsoft (built-in spy and remote execution engine)

With failure after failure in a row (Nokia, Windows Phone and more), "one size tits all" approach, everything costs money. It is expected they must look for alternate revenue.

Now I will share with you the most guarded secret. Bitcoin mining only happen when Microsoft has no better orders. When they get new orders, sometimes they must download a new remote execution engine. It must be uploaded to a majority of windows 10 computers in the same time to get fast resolution to the current number crunching job. It is a reason for forced updates and constant trashing of hard drives.

You keep pretending to be a Microsoft mole. I told you already, they do not employ such individuals. :)

What such individuals would that be if you would be so kinda as to expand on that...

BTW, my post makes no claim to working FOR Microsoft btw... just that I should tell my team lead and his manager....

Another new Windows mobile reboot. I wonder if customers will care at all? Why do they even bother still?

The thing is that so many people simply don't care about bridging the divide. That said, I don't think its a waste for them because this really forms part of an IoT future - one version of Windows for everything, and phones would be included. Naturally, the timeline is unclear, but MS will, one day, simply drop the 10 from the name, and then merge IoT into Windows core, and so on and so fifth. One Windows that adapts to everything.

Edit: I'm also sure they'll drop support for Win32 at some point. Such apps still saturate the market, but MS has a goal to jump to UWP so that Win32 can be retired. That removes a large bulk from the system and, theortically, would make it easier to have a common Windows.

Just edited my post changing from 'mode' to 'mole', but judging from response you received it correctly. :)

A mole to be successful must develop trust, so it would look like a nice, respectful person. There is no trust in you, as you are a troll.
