Hi guys,
I have googled extensively and read a gazillion tutorials, but can't find a solution.
I have an Excel Spreadsheet, large-ish (30 columns, 66 rows) that I am using to track progress on a project.
I have a bar chart that serves as a "Progress Bar", basically showing the percentage complete, and some totals and legends in the first 8 columns on the left (up to column H).
I would like to freeze those 8 columns so that when the rest of the page (columns I to AC) are scrolled vertically the chart columns stay where they are and the progress bar is permanently visible.
However, the Freeze function for columns seems to only freeze the 8 columns if I scroll the other columns horizontally, which I have no need for. Freezing rows for vertical scrolling requires freezing rows, and I can't do that.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I can get around this? Split panes do nothing - all the columns still scroll together.
I'm using Excel 2010.
Thanks in advance!
