MSAN port

Upgraded to 10Mbps asked about 20Mbps but they say can't be because my exchange support only up to 10 Mpbs (didn't make sense to me)

I was under impresion that if you are on MSAN port they can upgrade you to max speed regardless of anything?

The only physical limitation in terms of sync speed is the distance from the MSAN and the quality of the copper.

So my guess is that Telkom are still upgrading the backhaul from the exchange to the core network. This needs to be big enough to support existing users, as well as the 20 and 40meg lines, otherwise all users connected to the exchange directly and indirectly (via MSANs) will suffer with slower speeds and congestion issues. Give it a while, it will eventually be enabled.
