You do know that it is a reference design, right?

It runs reference clocks etc.

For all intents and purposes it might as well be an HIS, Force3d, Sapphire etc.

IMHO - R2900 (or anything above R1800) is overpriced.

You can buy a Sapphire 4850 512MB for R2280 - Brand New from PCInt.
 
You supposed to say 2000 then i say 1700 then you say 1800... But gonna go for force3d, not a reference cooler, but good luck on the selling.:-)
 
Why do you want to sell it in the first place, unless you are upgrading to a 4870, 4850x2 or 4870x2 in which case you can come down in price if you can afford those cards. :D
 
Sorry wrong thread i know but just want to know where that thread is about the cheapest pc stores, cant find it and most of the guys on this thread are online at the time of posting.

I know there is a lot. Maybe do a search for "local online pc shops". I remember a thread of last week where we posted most of the online shops... Just to lazy to do this myself. ;)

Picked up a GTX260 at a good price, i will come down to R 1900, but that's it. This is only to get it out soon as possible, lower than that ill just keep it and put it in one of my other machines.
 
Cool. I understand where you are coming from, it's only 4weeks old and the MSI card is priced a bit high. If I had the cash, I would have taken it from you for my 2nd pc. It's really a nice card for the price. Reason why I asked on your add in the classifieds, is because a friend is looking for one...

That's an incredibly bad price.
I'll never understand why people pay more for the same thing, just cos it's a better perceived brand.
 
HIS ICEQ4 HD4850 is nice, worth the extra moola for a brand new card then buying this second hand MSI

And pinnacle ain't the cheapest place to buy stuff, so i guess you got ripped off with the MSI

yes, but that has better cooling for more room for overclocking etc, but comparing two reference boards is a bit silly as they basically the same thing, and probably come from the same factory

Like the guys said, if you bought it at a bad time.. If you paid too much...
It doesn't matter.

If you wanna sell it now, you gotta go with the current market price.

I would suggest trying Gumtree. I sold some items at sinful prices there cos the peopl don't really know any better. I'm not proud of it, but I understand you want to make a decent amount of money back.
 
JohnnyQ - Pinnacle tore you a new one buddy, R2900 is just plain rape. PC international, with all the dollar rand fluctuation still have the 4850 for R1999 ex.
