MSI ATi HD4890 Cyclone

I purchased a MSI HD4890 yesterday, but I have a few problems which I hope someone can clarify for me:

1) From the pictures provided, I used to have my Intel q6600 @ 3GHz but I cannot get my system on the frequency anymore. Everytime I slightly overclock, it fails to boot and restores defaults.

2) The gcard takes about 5 seconds delay before the initial POST starts, has anyone else experienced this?

Did you change the PCIe frequency at all for your overclock?

You might need to. I have heard of people having issues in this regard.

I see alot of people have the same problem as me, perhaps I should give a bios update a go. I have the Gigabyte P35-DS3L with revision F4 firmware, i see F8 or 9 is available on the site. Do you guys think I should give it a go? Also I havent updated firmware before, any nice links and suggestions how to go about for a Gigabyte motherboard?

Your voltage seems really low man.

I havent touched my voltage for anything except my DDR2, everything is on auto. Can you perhaps provide me with the info for my CPU voltages?

what is the correct voltage?

Put the cpu voltage at 1.3v and it should be stable

Updated bios to F9 and adjusted vcore to 1.3v with OC, didnt work. Changed it back to 1.25v without OC for now. Any other suggestions?

STATUS REPORT: Took my 4890 back to the shop. Seems my 4890 was raping PSU's (Even a 1000Watt PSU was left with 11.5v on idle after boot for the 12v rail) so it's being sent back to the suppliers to be inspected. Hopefully they allow me to purchase something else with the money I spent, e.g a GTX275

Anyways, I'll reply again after all this business is finished.
