I'm busy on a mobile registration page for a website and heard that the MSIDN is passed through the http headers. I want to fill in the cell number automatically for the user, if available.

How do I get hold of it?

in SA it's a value added services from the MNO and it comes at a price for some of them. I belief you have to be a WASP. It's also not full proof. If the user uses a custom proxy, you will not get the MSISDN headers - they have to use the MNO defaults.

is everything a value add? :p
Yeah, I read it wasn't fool proof, but figured for those using the proxy, I could save a few key strokes on tiny keypads.

Definitely not worth paying for.
